In 2007, Chrissie Wellington shocked the triathlon world by winning the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. As a newcomer to the sport and a complete unknown to the press, Chrissie’s win shook up the sport. A LIFE WITHOUT LIMITS is the story of her rise to the top, a journey that has taken her around the world, from a childhood in England, to the mountains of Nepal, to the oceans of New Zealand, and the trails of Argentina, and first across the finish line.

The human spirit is a powerful thing. It can show us how exceptional we can be as individuals and how extraordinary we can be as a community.
The Individual Triumph
This swim, bike and run will prove that good things do come in threes. This day will change you, and most importantly, the lives of those living with cancer.
The Community Triumph
In 2011 more than 630 everyday people like you participated in the Joe’s Team Triathlon/Duathlon and raised more than 1 million dollars to support critical cancer research at The Princess Margaret.
To date Joe’s Team has raised over 4.5 million dollars for this important cause. Today, we stand (or should we say swim, bike and run) as the community event that is far surpassing the expectations of everyone involved, a claim that we can only make because of the generous support of our sponsors and people like you.
