The Readers’ Choice Awards, in their 8th year, provide Get Out There readers from across the country the opportunity to vote on the people, places, events and organizations that make active living in Canada great. This year over 1,500 readers cast votes in over 46 different categories.
The RCAs are awarded for Eastern Canada, Western Canada and nationally in some categories (where a company or organization operates in at least one province in Eastern and Western Canada).
The official list of winners will be announced in the February issue of Get Out There, which will hit the street on February 1.

Winter is fast approaching and finding activities to keep kids moving is a top priority! Gears Bike Shop is proud to partner with Joyride 150 to offer indoor winter riding programs for kids! Joyride 150, located at 150 Bullock Drive in Markham, is a 90,000 sq. ft. indoor bike park that offers a wild array of courses, tracks, pathway, obstacles and platforms for every discipline in cycling! Gears will provide expert instruction from a staff team that will train at introductory, intermediate and advanced levels.
